====== PTZ camera control ====== In general there are three operation modes available to move PTZ cameras: * continuous * absolute * relative ==== Continuous move operation ==== Continuous move operation is the basic PTZ operation mode used by most CCTV joysticks and keyboards. TERRA 4D support of continuous move directly from the Viewer UI is planned. At the moment it can be done through external joysticks. ==== Absolute move operation ==== Absolute move operation is used to move the PTZ device to an absolute position. TERRA 4D uses its georeferencing capabilities to translate real world coordinates into PTZ coordinates. The absolute move commands are used to put the PTZ device onto the desired position. ==== Relative move operation ==== Relative move operation is used in order to steer a PTZ device relative to the current position without the need to know the current position. This mode is not used by TERRA 4D. ===== Tested cameras ===== ==== Absolute move supported ==== | **Brand** | **Tested Models** | **Comment** | | Avigilon | all | all cameras supported | | Axis | all | all cameras supported | | Basler | BIP2-1300c-dn | | Bosch | Dinion IP starlight 7000 HD\\ MIC IP dynamic 7000 HD | | | Dahua | DH-SD1A200T-GN\\ DH-SD59225UN-HNI\\ DIG-8330P | Different behavior of models\\ test of other models recommended | | Digital Watchdog | DWC-MPTZ30X | | | Hikvision | all | all cameras supported | | Honeywell | HRHQ108 | | IndigoVision | BX 500 | Different behavior of models\\ test of other models recommended | | Mobotix | M16D-Sec | | | Samsung | XNP-6370RH | | | Sony | SNC-DH120\\ SNC-EM602R\\ SNC-EM600\\ SNC-DH110T\\ SNC-CH160\\ SNC-ER550 | Different behavior of models\\ test of other models recommended | ==== Absolute move not supported ==== | **Brand** | **Tested models** | **Comment** | | Geutebrück | TopBC-2123\\ TopFD-2123\\ TopBC-2118 | | | IndigoVision | BX 600 | |
